The end of the end. The start of the beginning.  

Either way, this is how I dub this period.  

February 1st, the great(est?) master Rem Koolhaas, accompanied by an entourage of scholars, professors, and a dedicated photographer, listened to our final presentation. Again, the critics had their discussion focused on the Chinese preservation of cultural essence over physicality that I proposed.  

February 2nd, out of blue, I was invited by OMA’s HR Lady-in-Charge to a conversation. I told her I am interested in the Beijing office.  

February 13th, interview with OMA Beijing office.  

February 26th, offer given by OMA Beijing office.  

February 29th, the offer accepted. 

The February of 2008, from the first to the last day, a month that will, I am pretty sure, proven to be fatal in my life.  

Beijing, my dearest city and beloved hometown, I will be back soon.
